Soil Compound Microscopes |
 A microscope is an essential tool for soil study. With advice from Dr. Elaine Ingham, Chief Scientist at the Rodale Institute, a world-renowned soil biologist, we prepared a group of microscopes dedicated for soil microscopy for researchers and students to choose from. We have removed some of the parts that are not used in soil biology and added some parts that are more suited for the research and demonstration so that you get the most value out of your investment. Binocular or trinocular head, coaxial coarse and fine focus knobs, convenient-to-operate lower x-y adjustment double layer mechanical stage with slides retainer, NA1.25 Abbe condenser, and adjustable LED or Halogen lighting are all standard for those microscopes.
Microscope camera is also an important part of the microscopic system. We provide high quality and easy-to-use USB or built-in cameras. All of them support all recent MS Windows versions (2000/XP/Vista/7, 32bit and 64bit) as well as Mac computers with Mac OS X but limited functionality.
Unlike some other microscope cameras that provide smaller field of view (due to the absence of the reduction lens) and basic featured software, all of our cameras come with the reduction lens to optimize the field of view and a sophisticated software application with full control of the exposure, white balance (customs color control and auto adjustment), together with the measurement (length, area, perimeter) features at low costs.
Five year warranty is standard for all our microscopes. One year warranty for the cameras and a nominal repair fee afterwards. Technical support is available through email and phone calls. Detailed instruction and some videos are also available for the microscopes and cameras.
