This is a compound microscope with newly designed darkfield consenser which the viewing field is more than 3 times brighter than an ordinary darkfield setting. Although the darkfield condenser does not need extra power of lighting, this microscope equipped 3W LED light which has low heat but brither than a 30W halogen light. The Siedentopf binocular head and reversed nosepiece are only seen on high end biological compound microscopes. The price is affordable to students and families but it's at professional level which is purchased by many doctors, vets and researchers at a fraction of price they usually pay for a microscope with the same features and performance.
